Even if you put a lot in the map, it will not be messy because of the layer separation. Drag and drop to move around, up to 10 layers can be added.

  • slide

Routes can be set up in two ways: a "navigation route" that automatically lays out the route by setting the starting point, ending point, and relay points, or by selecting any point on the map to lay out the route.

  • slide

You can set up a spot on the map and add a description and photo of the place. You can also add a description and pictures of the place you liked on your route.

  • slide

Even if you put a lot in the map, it will not be messy because of the layer separation. Drag and drop to move around, up to 10 layers can be added.

  • slide

Once you have entered the map, write a detailed description. It can be your impressions of the trip or ride, or a more detailed description. Use the map and articles to talk about the attractions of various roads, places, towns, and regions.

  • slide

Finally, you can set thumbnails and include tags to make it easier for others to find. Regions, etc. are set automatically from the map input; you can share them only with specific people using the URL sharing mode. (Up to 10 private articles can be used)

For Example...

  • Write about your travel plans for consecutive holidays and weekends.
  • Write an article sharing roads, routes, and hazards that were good for riding and biking.
  • Put it in private mode and write it as a travel plan and share it with friends.
  • Use RouteShare as a travel or ride blog.

Publish your contributions and tell people what you know about the routes and places you know.

Published routes can be searched from a list. You can also search by keyword or by map. This function can be performed without logging in.

  • slide

Published route articles will be listed. Enter a place name as a keyword or search by a tag name to find a route you are interested in. You may also search for places you are planning to visit.

  • slide

You can also search for posts by map. This is a quicker way to find posts based directly on your area than searching by keyword.

  • slide

The article consists of a map and the text. The map shows the registered routes and spots.

For Example...

  • Search for the name of the place, city, or road where you want to travel or ride in the future.
  • Search the tag for content unrelated to geographic information.
  • Find popular articles by sorting them in order of most Nice Route or clones.

Follow users to receive notifications of their posts, and use "Nice Route" to thank them when you like their posts.

RouteShare allows you to follow users and "like" your favorite contributors.

  • slide

Click on "Nice Route" on any route article you like to let the poster know how you feel about it. The likes of the article and the likes received by the user will be counted.

  • slide

Follow users you are interested in. You will receive notifications when new posts are made.

  • slide

Users can search the same way as for route articles. Let's look at the articles of various people.

  • slide

On the user's profile page, you can see the routes they have posted and their achievements.

Save route articles that interest you.

RouteShara allows you to save your routes so that you can look back on them later. When saving a route, you can organize it by category. There is no limit to the number of route articles that can be saved.

  • slide

You can save routes that you want to look back on later. Saved routes can be grouped in their own categories.

  • slide

From Home, you can view, search, and cancel saved routes in the Saved Route List.

Easily copy and reuse map information for routes created by others.

RouteShare aims to "make geographic information more open" and is conscious of making it easier for many people to create and share route articles. We encourage you to add further informational value by copying the route map information, and RouteShare welcomes all sorts of geographic information to be submitted!

  • slide

There is a clone function that allows you to copy the map settings of a route article and automatically enter them into your own article. You can select all or some settings to copy.

  • slide

For example, when you want to create an article about the 100 most famous mountains in Japan, you can start by creating a route without having to go through the trouble of looking up the mountains and placing spots by copying them.

  • slide

You can also create a set of routes and spots that are intended to be cloned into the articles you create in RouteShare. Create a set that only you know about and help many people create their own routes. The number of cloned articles will be counted and used as a record.

For Example...

  • You can save route articles that you find useful and clone them at any time.
  • You can also make a list of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan, a list of national roads, etc., or you can make a list of radio towers, which is a geeky thing to do.

Import route information from KML, GPX, and Strava.

RouteShare supports the creation of imports from geographic data such as GPX. You can use other applications to record the data, and then import it into RouteShare when you want to share more detailed information.

  • slide

Download KML from Map's My Maps Timeline and import it into RouteShare to create routes and spots automatically according to the KML data. GPX import is also supported.

  • slide

After creating an account, you can also connect with Strava to import your activities and routes into RouteShare.

Record position with GPS tracking

The app version uses GPS tracking to record the path of your movement. The GPS signal is saved when it arrives, even in an offline environment.

*Tracking functionality is provided only for the IOS/android version; you can see what you have recorded and saved on your web browser.
