RouteShareをご利用いただきありがとうございます。来年2026年3月にRouteShareは機能追加、仕様変更、コンセプト変更によるリニューアルを行うことになりました。重要な変更となりますので、以下ご覧いただけると幸いです。
リニューアル経緯
RouteShareは管理人が個人事業主の傍で個人開発レベルの運営していましたがこの度、法人化を行い本格的にRouteShareサービス充実化のため事業化したことが挙げられます。定まっていなかったユーザー像や目標、理念、機能をより明確化し、それに合ったプロダクトへと改修を行います。
デザイン、機能や雰囲気がガラッと変わるほどではありませんがより使いやすく、そして「RouteShareを使って面白い！」「ツーリングに役に立つ！」「もっとツーリングをしたい！」と思える様なサービスを提供できる様に機能追加や改修を行います。
日本国内のサイクリング、バイクツーリングに特化したサービスになります。
これまでRouteShareは、ドライバーや登山、徒歩、マラソン、歴史巡りなど、さまざまな楽しみ方をされている方々にご利用いただいてきました。
このたびのリニューアルでは、「日本国内のサイクリングとバイクツーリングに特化したサービス」へと方向性を絞ります。
「道の体験を共有する」というRouteShareの原点に立ち返り、サイクリストやツーリストが
- 旅行前に安心できるルートを見つけ、
- 旅行中に活用し、
- 旅行後には思い出を残して共有できる
そんな場所をしっかりと育てていきます。
日本ならではの景観や文化、走る楽しさをもっと身近に感じてもらえるように――
これからのRouteShareは、みなさんのサイクリングやツーリングがもっと面白く、もっと快適になるサービスを目指します。
[重要]：国土地理院の地図を用いることで日本国外の地図表示が行われなくなります。
現在のRouteShareではGoogle Map、Mapboxの地図を使用することで全世界の地理情報およびその追加、表示が行えます。公開された記事は誰でも見れますが、この地図表示のコストが大きいことが課題でした。また日本のルート情報に特化するサービスへと方針転換を行う上、持続的なサービス維持のために国土地理院の地図を使用することに決定しました。詳細な影響などは別途こちらのお知らせにて告知を行っていますのでご確認ください。
複数人でチームで利用できる様になります。
これまでRouteShareは個人でのルート投稿を中心に利用されてきましたが、リニューアル後は複数人でチームを組んで利用できる機能が加わります。
- 友人や仲間と一緒にサイクリングやツーリングを計画し、チームでルートやスポット情報をまとめられる
- チーム専用の投稿やアルバムを作成し、メンバー内で共有できる
- 公開を選べば、チームとして発信したルートや記録を他のユーザーにも見てもらえる
といった使い方が可能になります。
これにより、「みんなで一つの記事を作る」「クラブやサークル単位で情報をストックする」といった共同体験が広がり、RouteShareを通じて仲間と一緒に走る楽しさがより深まります。将来的にはチームごとの実績やランキング機能なども検討しています
旅行前、中、後で投稿しやすい、より気軽に投稿できる仕様に変わります。
これまでのRouteShareは「ブログ的な文章を書く」ことを重視していました。また1つの記事ベースで地理情報を載せる仕様のため、自分の投稿間での共有性が悪かったり、レコーディングと記事が別々になってしまうと不便な箇所がありました。また、ブログ的な長い文章は作成者の負担が大きいことが問題でした。そのため
- 各コンテンツ間でルートやスポットなどの地理情報をマイ地理情報（仮名）として保存して、他のコンテンツに利用したり、すぐ共有できる。
- 短文、画像だけといったよりライトな投稿ができる。
といったより気軽に簡単に投稿できる仕組みを実装予定です。
もちろん既存の記事作成機能はのこしつつ、様々な旅行のタイミングに応じて投稿続いてを作成・追記できる様になります。
旅行前
行きたいルートやスポットを簡単に保存・メモして下書き投稿ができるため、計画段階からRouteShareを活用できます。
旅行中
スマホからその場で写真やメモを追加できる「簡単モード」や、走行ログを自動で記録するトラッキング機能で、移動しながら手軽に記録できます。計画時に作成した内容を見ながら現地で活用したり、トラッキングしながら同じコンテンツに地理情報を追記できます。
旅行後
そのまま投稿しても良いですし、帰宅後にまとめて記事として整理でき、地図や写真を組み合わせて充実した投稿に仕上げることもできます。
「しっかり記事を書く」だけでなく、短い文章や写真だけのライトな投稿もできるようになるため、「少しだけ残したい」「仲間に共有したい」というニーズにも応えられる様にします。
コミュニティ・SNSタイムライン機能について
リニューアル後のRouteShareでは、コミュニティ機能やSNSのようなタイムラインが導入されます。
この仕組みによって、「自分の投稿を誰かに見てもらえる」「仲間の旅の様子をリアルタイムで感じられる」という体験が広がり、RouteShareを旅仲間とつながる場所として活用できるようになります。
日本中を旅して探索実績を解放しよう（2026年4月以降予定）
新しいスマホ版アプリの機能として日本中の様々なスポットやルートを巡った際に探索実績として残せる様になります。
国道、県道を走破したり、市区町村、端点、島などを訪れた際に実績としてカウントされます。達成された実績は公開され他の人の実績を見ることもできます。
個人の実績として登録したり、チームで協力してチーム全体の実績を作ることも可能です。公式が用意した実績スポット以外で登録されていない場合、登録の依頼が可能です。また現地に訪れていたことがわかる場合は登録依頼者が最初の到達者として記録されます。

Thank you for using RouteShare. RouteShare will undergo a renewal in March 2026, featuring new features, specification changes, and a revised concept. As these are significant changes, we would appreciate it if you could review the details below.
Background of the Renewal
RouteShare was previously operated at a personal development level alongside the owner's sole proprietorship. However, we have now incorporated as a company to fully commit to enhancing the RouteShare service. We will clarify previously undefined user profiles, goals, principles, and features, and refine the product accordingly.
While the design, features, and overall feel won't undergo a complete overhaul, we will add new features and make improvements to create a service that is easier to use and inspires thoughts like: “Using RouteShare is fun!”, “It's useful for touring!”, and “I want to go touring more!”.
This service specializes in cycling and motorcycle touring within Japan.
Until now, RouteShare has been used by drivers and people enjoying various activities such as hiking, walking, marathons, and historical tours.
With this renewal, we are refocusing our direction to become a “service specialized in cycling and bike touring within Japan.”
Returning to RouteShare's founding principle of “sharing road experiences,” cyclists and tourists
- Find a reliable route before your trip,
- Use during your travels,
- After traveling, you can preserve and share your memories.
[Important]: Using maps from the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan will prevent the display of maps outside Japan.
The current RouteShare service utilizes Google Maps and Mapbox to provide and display geographic information worldwide. While published articles are accessible to anyone, the high cost of this map display has been a challenge. Furthermore, as we shift our focus to a service specializing in Japanese route information, we have decided to use maps from the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) to ensure sustainable service maintenance. Details regarding the impact of this change are provided in a separate announcement here. Please review it for further information.
It will be available for use by multiple people in a team.
Until now, RouteShare has primarily been used for individual route submissions. After the renewal, features enabling team collaboration will be added.
You'll be able to:
- Plan cycling or touring trips with friends and companions, compiling route and spot information as a team
- Create team-exclusive posts and albums to share among members
- Choose to make routes and records shared as a team visible to other users
This will expand collaborative experiences like “creating one article together” or “storing information at the club or circle level,” deepening the joy of riding with friends through RouteShare. We are also considering features like team achievements and rankings for the future.
The feature will be redesigned to make posting easier and more casual before, during, and after your trip.
Previously, RouteShare emphasized writing blog-style articles. Its single-article-based design for geolocation data made sharing between your own posts difficult and created inconveniences when recordings and articles were separated. Additionally, creating lengthy blog-style articles placed a significant burden on creators. Therefore,
we plan to implement a system where geolocation data like routes and spots can be saved as My Geolocation (tentative name) across content, allowing reuse in other content or instant sharing.
This will enable lighter, more casual posting, such as short texts or images alone.
We plan to implement this system for easier, more accessible posting.
Of course, the existing article creation function will remain. Users will be able to create and add to posts according to various travel stages.
Before Travel
You can easily save and memo desired routes or spots as draft posts, allowing you to utilize RouteShare from the planning stage.
During Travel
Features like “Simple Mode” for adding photos and memos on the spot via smartphone, and tracking functionality that automatically records travel logs, enable effortless recording while on the move. You can reference content created during planning while on location, or add geographic information to the same content while tracking.
After Travel
You can post immediately or organize everything into articles after returning home. Combine maps and photos to create rich posts.
Beyond writing full articles, you can also make light posts with short text or just photos. This meets needs like “I just want to save a little something” or “I want to share with friends.”
About the Community SNS Timeline Feature
After the renewal, RouteShare will introduce community features and a social media-like timeline.
This system will expand the experience of “having your posts seen by others” and “feeling your friends' travel adventures in real time,” enabling you to use RouteShare as a place to connect with travel companions.
Travel across Japan and unlock exploration achievements (Scheduled for April 2026 and later)
As a new feature in the smartphone app, you can now record exploration achievements when visiting various spots and routes across Japan.
Achievements are counted when you traverse national highways, prefectural roads, or visit municipalities, endpoints, islands, and more. Completed achievements are publicly displayed, and you can view others' achievements.
You can register achievements individually or collaborate with a team to build collective team achievements. If a spot isn't registered as an official achievement location, you can request its registration. If it's confirmed you visited the location, the requester will be recorded as the first person to reach it.
