What Are Touring Plans?
A touring plan is a tool for sketching out and sharing the routes and spots of an upcoming ride on a map. With just a map, a title, and a memo, you can quickly jot down meeting points, places to stop by, and the roads you want to ride.
How It Differs From a Touring Post
A touring post is an article meant to be published and read by others. A touring plan is a lighter tool for sharing within your group or keeping notes for yourself.
| Touring plan | Touring post | |
|---|---|---|
| Content | Map, title, memo | Map, body text, photos, tags, and more |
| Visibility | Private, or share link only | Public, or unlisted by URL |
| Search and lists | Not shown | Shown |
| Favorites, comments, tags | None | Available |
A touring plan has no fully public state and never appears in search results or lists. You use it in one of two ways: Private, visible only to you, or URL sharing, visible only to people who have the share link.
Where to Find It
Open it from “Touring Plans” on My Page or your user home, or from “Plan” in the footer. From the list you create and edit plans, and hand the share link to your friends.
